Job summary

Beyond SOF is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support an enterprise network architecture and engineering team for a Federal customer. The role focuses on cloud connectivity, secure migration of applications to the cloud, and engineering, design, testing, and implementation of resilient cloud networking solutions.

Qualifications

7+ years in network design and cloud engineering.
Experience with enterprise network environments.
Experience with AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

Experience building Secure Cloud Interconnect (SCI), Netbond, Direct Connect and VPN connections.
Lead Migration from legacy on-prem networking to the Cloud Networking.
Deploy and manage virtual servers in the Cloud.
Deploy and manage containers in the Cloud.
Deploy and manage elastic IPs and elastic network interfaces in the Cloud.
Deploy and manage Cloud based load balancing.
Research, evaluate, and recommend new cloud technologies.
Provide internal consulting, technical guidance, information and support to developers and operations.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have excellent communication skills.
