About The Team

The UKG Cloud Infra Network team seeks a Principal Network Engineer with private and public cloud experience to support our cloud solutions, enhancing our infrastructure’s performance, scalability, and reliability.

About The Role

This role involves designing, improving, and supporting networking systems for our cloud environments. We value collaboration, innovation, and a proactive approach to customer experience.

Responsibilities

1. Design and support networking systems for cloud environments.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable networking solutions.
3. Automate network processes and improve existing systems.
4. Participate in on-call rotations and handle escalations.
5. Provide support and detailed incident reports to management.
6. Diagnose network issues using data analysis and diagnostic tools.

Minimum Qualifications

1. 8-10+ years in complex network design and implementation.
2. Experience with mission-critical cloud deployments.
3. Knowledge of load balancing, SSL certificates, tunneling technologies.
4. Proficiency with Linux/Unix command line tools.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
2. Experience with automation, cloud certifications, and LAN internetworking.
3. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
