Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a senior lead to manage enterprise-scale EOL remediation across internal compute environments. The role focuses on migrating legacy workloads to a hyperconverged internal cloud platform, overseeing ~14,000 servers across distributed, grid, and legacy cloud platforms.

The candidate will drive assessment, planning, execution tracking, and risk management, coordinating with engineering, architecture, and product teams to ensure successful platform adoption.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering roles.
• Experience leading large-scale remediation or migration programs.
• Understanding of server lifecycle management and EOL processes.
• Ability to drive cross-organizational alignment across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end EOL remediation lifecycle across programs.
• Partner with platform/workload owners to inventory EOL servers.
• Develop and maintain a remediation plan for ~14,000 servers.
• Create capacity plans to support migration to the internal cloud.
• Align with engineering, architecture, and product teams on target state.
• Establish KPIs and progress reporting for migration pace and timelines.
• Identify risks and blockers; drive cross-organizational resolution.
• Provide executive visibility via dashboards and status reports.
