Pfizer Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineering Lead for its Digital hub in New York, NY, to drive modern cloud infrastructure with a security-first approach. You will lead a small team of cloud engineers, shaping GCP designs, automation, and IaC adoption to deliver scalable, reliable cloud capabilities.

The role requires deep GCP knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to partner with global teams to raise engineering standards and accelerate value delivery for Pfizer's digital programs.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or engineering with 6+ years' cloud engineering experience.
• 2+ years in technical leadership managing or mentoring engineers.
• Deep GCP production experience and secure, scalable designs.
• Strong programming in Python or similar.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, OpenTofu, Pulumi).
• Excellent communication across a large matrix organization.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a small team of 3–5 cloud engineers with mentorship.
• Design, implement, and manage GCP solutions focusing on security and scalability.
• Drive IaC adoption using Terraform, OpenTofu, Spacelift, and Pulumi.
• Collaborate with global engineers, developers, and product teams.
• Set standards for deployment and management of GCP infrastructure.
• Guide on-call support and drive continuous improvement.
• Champion automation-first approaches.
