Job summary
EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Cloud Engineer to own cloud initiatives, drive secure and scalable Google Cloud solutions with Azure exposure, and translate business needs into reliable technical delivery.
You will work with cross-functional teams on modern cloud architectures, advocate best practices, and mentor junior engineers while delivering high-impact projects in a dynamic, global environment.
Qualifications
- Hands-on development with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in production
- Azure exposure is a plus for hybrid cloud environments
- Able to own stories and drive end-to-end delivery
- Strong understanding of cloud delivery models and data integration
- Experience with Agile and DevOps practices
- Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Participate in user story creation, refinement and estimation
- Independently develop and test cloud solutions from design to release
- Develop secure, scalable GCP-based infrastructure and apps with Azure exposure
- Contribute to reference architectures and solution building blocks
- Ensure security is integrated in design and implementation
- Communicate progress and decisions to stakeholders across roles
- Create PoCs and position papers to drive innovation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs
