Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Lead Architect to join a team delivering software systems engineering services for a trusted customer. You will specify, design, and deploy the end-state system, lead JAVA microservices, and enable data integration via REST APIs within an AWS-based environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree, 15+ years of experience, TS/SCI with polygraph clearance, and AWS Cloud architecture expertise plus an AWS SA Associate certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in a relevant field.
• 15+ years of experience in software architecture or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud architecture and services.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate) required.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

• Specify, design, develop, test and deploy end-state system using scrum.
• Design and guide JAVA microservices implementation.
• Architect data integration via REST API.
• Lead data ingestion and normalization from multiple sources.
• Create technical documentation for program reviews and status.
• Coordinate monitoring of applications in production.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with enterprise services for web services integration.
