Job summary

Velocity Clinical Research seeks a subject matter expert and leader of a clinical trial team to conduct and manage trials from startup through study closeout in accordance with the study protocol, GCP, and Velocity’s SOPs.

You will mentor staff, coordinate start-up activities, recruitment, data entry, safety reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining high-quality data and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
• Associate’s degree and 6 years as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
• High School Graduate and 8 years as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
• Phlebotomy if applicable and required by state law.
• Certified Clinical Research Coordinator through ACRP or SOCRA within six months.

Responsibilities

• Lead a study team to execute clinical trials.
• Mentor and train staff in trial conduct and protocol requirements.
• Create training strategies and mitigation plans.
• Conduct and manage clinical trials per protocol, GCP, ICH, and SOPs.
• Coordinate start-up, vendor management, recruitment, visits, and regulatory documents.
• Ensure data entry is timely and all queries resolved; report adverse events.
• Apply project management to manage risk and improve quality.
• Communicate effectively with sponsors, CROs and vendors.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and sponsor information.
• Develop escalation strategies to uphold patient safety.
