Job summary

Alliance Clinical Network is seeking an Internal Medicine / Family Medicine physician with clinical research experience to help build a new clinical research site in Pittsburgh, PA. You will provide medical guidance as the site establishes itself and grows its research portfolio, balancing clinical engagement with the demands of research leadership.

You will oversee trials, ensure participant safety, and maintain data integrity while collaborating with staff, sponsors, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with a background in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or a Specialist.
• Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license.
• Prior clinical research experience in PI or sub-investigator capacity is required.
• Familiarity with ICH‑GCP and FDA clinical research regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical oversight and leadership for assigned trials.
• Protect safety, rights, and well-being of participants.
• Review eligibility and monitor safety data and laboratory results.
• Collaborate with sponsors, CROs, IRBs, and site leadership.
• Contribute to quality culture and compliance with SOPs and regulations.
