Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a Lead Clinical Research Coordinator to oversee the Manoach Lab operations under the Principal Investigator. You will supervise CRCs, manage budgets, ensure IRB/HIPAA compliance, and contribute to data processing and manuscript preparation.

Remote/hybrid work is available with on-site duties at 149 Thirteenth Street. Strong project management and communication skills are required, along with experience in clinical research and potential EEG/MRI exposure.

Qualifications

• Strong project management skills.
• Strong analytic skills: can understand financial data and manage complex grant portfolio.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership ability: can provide support and direction to staff.
• Fluency with and ability to independently learn spreadsheet, database, word processing programs.
• Experience and familiarity with eRA Commons and ASSIST is a plus.
• Can work independently, checking in when necessary.
• Comfort working with clinical research populations.
• Experience conducting research studies with EEG/MRI scanning is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and monitors clinical research coordinators in studies, SOPs, recruitment, data management.
• Resolves problems and implements system improvements.
• Maintains records per IRB and HIPAA; master binders.
• Leads implementation of new research protocols with coordinators.
• Liaises with Clinical Research Center and collaborators; participate in data acquisition.
• Oversees lab budget and salary distributions with PI.
• Verifies monthly financial reports and provides updates to PI.
• Submits and tracks grant proposals via InfoED; liaises with grants administrator.
• Manages purchasing and maintains equipment and supplies.
• Manages hiring process.
• Prepares IRB correspondence and submissions; progress reports.
• Assists in manuscript writing and preparation.
