Job summary

Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation (TCRHCC) seeks a Lead Clinical Nurse to optimize patient care, throughput, and safety. The role mentors nursing staff, coordinates assignments with Charge Nurses, and supports department priorities.

The LCN will provide real-time clinical support and may serve as Acting Director of Emergency Services in the Director’s absence. Navajo preference policy applies.

Qualifications

• Association or bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
• Must hold valid, current, full nursing license to practice in any US state or territory.
• Must maintain multiple life support certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC) within required timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct observation of patients per nursing plan of care.
• Mentor nursing staff to create a safe environment.
• Maintain patient safety during shifts.
• Assist in management of high-acuity, trauma, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, pediatric patients.
• Coordinate throughput standards for admissions, discharges, transfers.
