Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Biomedical Sciences (NY)
• NY license required
• NAACLS/ASCP or NCA eligible

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily performance of testing; assign workload and troubleshoot assays
• Act as department trainer and assist methods development
• Ensure readiness for audits, CAP checklists and NYS requirements
• Promote positive team spirit and effective client communication
• Support laboratory leadership in expanding department scope and services
