Job summary

LabCorp is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to join our team at the Ascension St. John Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville and Ascension St. John Nowata in Nowata, OK.

You will supervise day-to-day Core Laboratory operations, ensure tests are performed accurately and results reported timely, and mentor laboratory personnel. Qualifications include an Associates degree in a chemical or biological science and at least 4 years as a technician; ASCP or AMT certification is

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a chemical or biological science, CLIA standards knowledge
• 4+ years of experience as a laboratory technician
• Ability to supervise and mentor laboratory staff
• Strong knowledge of CLIA, CAP and state regulations

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day Core Laboratory operations
• Ensure tests are performed accurately and results reported timely
• Directly supervise, train, and mentor staff
• Monitor workflow and ensure adequate assay coverage
• Maintain quality control and QA records
• Process payroll and administrative duties as needed

Education
