Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Certification as MLS/MT per ASCP/AMT.
• Ability to perform diverse laboratory testing and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and control programs (IQCP, inspections).

Responsibilities

• Perform complex laboratory functions and implement new methods or techniques.
• Develop and recommend test protocols and evaluation of results.
• Ensure laboratory tests and procedures comply with accrediting agencies.
• Manage instrument validation studies and analytics.
• Provide staff training and competency assessments for laboratory personnel.
• Coordinate daily work activities and priorities with the supervisor.
