Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Evidence of leadership and supervisory capability in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Proven ability to manage budgeting, contracting, procurement, and property management per VHA regulations.
• Ability to collaborate with upper management and multidisciplinary teams in a health-care environment.

Responsabilidades

• Share responsibility with the Chief of Laboratory Service for all phases of laboratory operations in designated complex labs.
• Supervise a large staff including at least one GS-13 subordinate.
• Provide guidance on laboratory medicine, policies, and new techniques.
• Develop and maintain quality assurance and management programs.
• Manage budget, resources, inventory, procurement, and contracting processes.
