Job summary

Effective School Solutions (ESS) is seeking a Clinical Program Director to lead the NuView Academy program in Piscataway, NJ, supporting K-12 students with high-need emotional and behavioral challenges. This role combines clinical leadership with day-to-day operations and requires an independently licensed clinician ready to supervise teams and partner with school leadership.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related mental health field.
• Active, independent clinical license in NJ (LCSW/LPC/LMFT).
• Certification to provide clinical supervision.
• 6–8 years providing clinical services to children and adolescents with significant behavioral/mental health needs.
• 3–5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong ability to build trust with school admins, families, and partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical supervision and oversight for clinicians and technicians.
• Oversee program operations, staffing, and compliance with ESS standards.
• Partner with school and district leadership on outcomes and support.
• Coordinate care across families, staff, psychiatrists, and community providers.
• Manage crises and high‑risk student situations with after‑hours support.
