Job summary

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic nursing care to patients in an ambulatory setting, addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Coordinate patient care by applying the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, through in-person and telehealth encounters.
• Oversee daily activities of nursing staff, resolve clinical issues, ensure safety, and act as a link between patients, nurses and management.
• Lead team guidance, problem-solving, and serve as a resource for staff and management.

Under the general direction of the Supervisor/Manager of Clinic Operations with clinical oversight from the Director of Clinical Operations, RN: The Lead Clinic RN is responsible for delivering holistic nursing care to patients in an ambulatory (outpatient) setting. This care is tailored to each patient's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and adapts appropriate care strategies for all stages of life. A key function of this role is to coordinate patient care by applying the nursing process - assessing, identifying, planning, implementing, and evaluating all aspects of care and educational needs. This coordination happens through direct patient contact as well as telephonic, telehealth, or electronic encounters. This role blends clinical expertise with administrative duties. The Lead Clinic RN oversees the daily activities of nursing staff, resolves clinical issues, ensures safety, and acts as a vital link between patients, nurses, and management. Leadership responsibilities include team guidance, problem-solving, and serving as a resource for both staff and management.
