The Lead Client Executive will lead executive-level business development of a portfolio of solutions for health plans, medical groups, hospital population-health teams, and other risk-bearing entities. Solutions will span technology and service offerings with a focus on medical expense reduction, with adjacencies in quality and accurate coding.

This role requires executive presence, strategic thinking, and an ability to connect across multiple clinical and operational leadership teams. The Lead Business Development Executive will promote the clinical value of key business drivers and ensure full adoption of WellSky tools and technology. The scope of the role includes initiating strategic partnerships, consulting with VBC clients, and guiding initial deployments to optimize the realization of value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development for clients that can benefit from value-based care solutions, providing strategic direction and operational leadership as needed to position Sales Teammates for success.
  • Support pipeline development and year-over-year bookings growth by strategically matching potential VBC clients to key solutions.
  • Bring to market an expanded VBC catalog of offerings focused on readmission reduction, ED transitions, end-of-life care, and a solution for the CMS TEAM model.
  • Translate the clinical value of WellSky solutions to C-suite hospital leaders, Physician leaders, and ED providers driving clinical operations.
  • Drive product development and innovative integration of WellSky technology solutions with native hospital workflows and communication platforms.
  • Guide initial deployments by vision-setting and driving of implementation priorities, preparing enterprise teams with smooth launch handoffs.
  • Support large-scale deployments by fostering key relationships with clinical leaders, physician leaders, and those leading the development of clinical workflows.
  • Leads and/or contributes to the development of clinical operation standards, workflows, and communication plans that enable optimal use of technical tools.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations for the expansion of service offerings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 12+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong EQ and relationship management.
  • Experience in sales & deployment of technology-enabled services.

Job Expectations:

  • Willing to travel 50% of time based on business needs
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
  • Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
  • Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
