Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc is seeking a Lead Cleaning Technician to join our Fill/Finish Manufacturing team in East Greenbush, New York. In this role, you will provide day-to-day leadership and support while ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing or cleanroom operations. This position is for the 3rd Shift, Monday to Friday, from 10:00 PM to 8:30 AM.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to Cleanroom Services employees.

• Conduct performance feedback discussions with direct reports.

Lead Cleaning Technician

Work model: 3rd Shift, Monday-Friday, 10:00pm-8:30am

What You'll Do

• Provide day-to-day leadership and support to Cleanroom Services employees while promoting a safe and compliant work environment
• Perform routine and deep-cleaning activities in manufacturing cleanrooms and general plant areas following approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Ensure all cleaning activities are completed in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and site quality standards
• Conduct regular performance feedback discussions with direct reports and elevate performance concerns to management and Human Resources when appropriate
• Support employee onboarding, training, and development to ensure all training requirements are completed and documented
• Maintain adequate inventory levels of uniforms, cleaning supplies, equipment, and manufacturing support materials
• Review and complete logbooks and documentation accurately and in compliance with written procedures and regulatory requirements
• Process material movement requests and support manufacturing operations through coordination of cleaning and facility readiness activities
• Participate in safety investigations, quality deviation investigations, commissioning activities, and validation efforts as required
• Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the manufacturing facility and drive continuous improvement in operational excellence

Environment and Physical Rhythms of This Role

• Requires adherence to gowning procedures and cleanroom protocols
• May involve standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving materials throughout the workday
• Requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with all site safety requirements
• May require working in both controlled cleanroom environments and general production areas

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma, Leaving Certificate, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, facilities, cleanroom operations, pharmaceutical production, biotechnology, or a related environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Salary

Salary Range (hourly) $18.70 - $29.28
