Job summary

Regeneron is seeking a Lead Cleaning Technician to join the Fill/Finish Manufacturing team at East Greenbush, NY. This on-site role requires leading Cleanroom Services, performing routine and deep-cleaning, and ensuring cGMP compliance in a fast-paced production environment.

You will mentor staff, manage onboarding and training, keep logs and inventories, and coordinate with manufacturing operations to ensure readiness and quality. On-site PPE and safety adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in manufacturing, facilities, cleanroom operations, pharma, biotech, or related environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and support to Cleanroom Services employees while promoting a safe and compliant work environment.
• Perform routine and deep-cleaning activities in manufacturing cleanrooms and general plant areas following SOPs.
• Ensure all cleaning activities meet cGMPs and site quality standards.
• Conduct regular performance feedback discussions with direct reports and escalate concerns when appropriate.
• Support onboarding, training, and development to ensure training requirements are completed and documented.
• Maintain inventory levels of uniforms, cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials.
• Review and complete logbooks and documentation accurately per procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Process material movement requests and coordinate cleaning and facility readiness with manufacturing operations.
• Participate in safety investigations, quality deviation investigations, commissioning, and validation efforts as required.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and drive continuous improvement in operations.

• Work model: 3rd Shift, Friday-Monday, 10:00pm-8:30am

What You'll Do

• Provide day-to-day leadership and support to Cleanroom Services employees while promoting a safe and compliant work environment

• Conduct regular performance feedback discussions with direct reports and escape performance concerns to management and Human Resources when appropriate
• Support employee onboarding, training, and development to ensure all training requirements are completed and documented
• Maintain adequate inventory levels of uniforms, cleaning supplies, equipment, and manufacturing support materials
• Review and complete logbooks and documentation accurately and in compliance with written procedures and regulatory requirements
• Process material movement requests and support manufacturing operations through coordination of cleaning and facility readiness activities
• Participate in safety investigations, quality deviation investigations, commissioning activities, and validation efforts as required
• Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the manufacturing facility and drive continuous improvement in operational excellence

• This position is performed in a manufacturing and cleanroom environment
• Requires adherence to gowning procedures and cleanroom protocols
• May involve standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving materials throughout the workday
• Requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with all site safety requirements
• May require working in both controlled cleanroom environments and general production areaslish

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma, Leaving Certificate, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, facilities, cleanroom operations, pharmaceutical production, biotechnology, or a related environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
