Job description

The GMP Lead is responsible for providing direction, motivation, and guidance to a team of cleaners.


Pay: $22.40/hr

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package. Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • No experience required; on-the-job training provided
  • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience
  • One (1) year of similar work experience

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to team members
  • Relay communication between team members, clients, customers, and management
  • Report performance issues to the Supervisor
  • Assist with the training of the cleaning team
  • Coordinate work assignments
  • Assist with making daily and weekly work schedules
  • Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned buildings
  • Manage security of keys and access cards for the property
  • Report work orders for maintenance
  • Ensure premises are secured at all times
  • Work with the Manager to schedule jobs with the Property Manager and cleaning crew to complete the work
  • Oversee quality of jobs and confirm completion with the Manager
  • Provide training to all new hires assigned to the building
  • Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly
  • Complete order forms completely and accurately
  • Coordinate equipment usage and inventories
