Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Lead Cleaner to supervise daily cleaning operations at our Zachary, LA facility. The role coordinates duties, delegates tasks, and ensures adherence to policies to keep buildings clean and safe for workers and visitors.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing daily and weekly schedules, handling cleaning chemicals, and supporting general janitorial tasks while maintaining open communication with management.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required
• 1 year of lead or supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules and report barriers.
• Provides leadership and direction to team members.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building.
• Takes care of keys and access cards for the property.
• Reports damaged, broken and out of work features/items.
• Oversee and perform additional service requests (tag job) in assigned building.
