Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Lead to coordinate daily facility operations, delegate tasks, and supervise teams when the Manager is away. The role involves guiding staff to maintain clean, safe buildings, operating cleaning equipment, handling chemicals, and fulfilling on-site client requirements.

Strong leadership, communication, and prior supervisory experience are preferred; a valid driver’s license is recommended; 18+ is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.
• Preferred: 1 year of similar work experience; 1 year of customer service experience; 1 year of lead or supervisory experience; Valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules; report barriers.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Maintain open communication between field employees and management; document client communications.
• Oversee cleaning operations in the assigned building; manage keys and access cards.
• Train new hires and validate time records for employees; complete daily activities.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly; perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
