Job Summary

The Lead Cleaner II is responsible for providing direction, motivation, and guidance to a team of cleaners. This role is typically performed in a commercial setting, such as banks, schools, warehouses, office buildings, and manufacturing facilities, and includes client-facing customer service.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer Service Experience
• One (1) year of similar work experience

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to team members
• Relay communication between team members, clients, customers, and management
• Report performance issues to the Supervisor
• Assist with training the cleaning team
• Coordinate work assignments
• Assist with creating daily and weekly work schedules
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned buildings
• Manage security of keys and access cards
• Report work orders for maintenance
• Ensure premises are secured at all times
• Work with Manager to schedule jobs with Property Managers and cleaning crews
• Oversee quality of work and confirm completion with the Manager
• Train new hires assigned to the building
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly
• Complete order forms accurately
• Coordinate equipment usage and inventories
