Job summary

Core-Mark International is seeking a Route Driver to deliver food and related products on intrastate and interstate routes, including overnight and shuttle services. You will drive tractor-trailer or straight truck, unload goods at customer locations, and maintain professional interactions with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities include DOT-compliant safety checks, timely deliveries on a fixed Monday–Friday schedule, and data entry of hours and freight paperwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year tractor/trailer commercial driving experience.
• Valid Class A license and 21+ years of age.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks pre/post trip and inspections per DOT standards.
• Report safety issues and repairs; follow DOT regulations and company policies.
• Inspect and secure freight; verify paperwork and loads.
• Deliver and unload goods to customers per route schedule; obtain signatures and payments where applicable.
• Ensure equipment is locked/secured and maintain cleanliness of tractors/trailers.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs per DOT and company requirements.
