Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; equivalent construction experience accepted.
• 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent managing heavy civil construction projects.
• Experience leading projects valued at $200M+ preferred.
• Knowledge of public works, DOT, municipal, and government construction requirements preferred.
• Experience with union labor and multiple trades preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily field construction operations for large-scale heavy civil projects.
• Manage activities including structures, concrete placement, earthwork, grading, excavation, and site development.
• Oversee self-performed work crews, subcontractors, equipment operators, and field personnel.
• Plan and coordinate daily work activities to meet milestones and production goals.
• Ensure safety and compliance with contract documents and quality standards.
• Provide field leadership for concrete operations, foundations, and bridges.
• Coordinate mass grading, excavation, embankment, soil placement, and compaction.
• Review plans and drawings to resolve field issues.
