Hut 8 Corp. is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer to lead civil and structural design for mission-critical facilities in the Fort Lauderdale area.

The role requires hands-on ownership from foundations through finish and involves close collaboration with geotechnical, contracting, and construction teams. The ideal candidate has 7+ years designing data-center–grade structures, deep code knowledge (ASCE 7, ACI 318, IBC), and proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, AutoCAD Civil 3D or Revit.

Formación

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 7+ years designing civil and structural systems for data centers, industrial, or mission-critical facilities.
• Working knowledge of ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC, and IBC with foundations, tilt-up concrete, PEMB.
• Fluency with structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000, RISA).
• Experience collaborating with geotechnical engineers, contractors, and construction teams.

Responsabilidades

• Own civil and structural design end-to-end including foundations, steel and concrete framing, site grading, drainage, and equipment anchorage.
• Serve as Engineer of Record with responsibility for calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Stay close to construction, resolve field conflicts in real time, and sign off when correct.
• Drive value by pushing on cost, constructability, and third-party deliverables.
