Job summary

H+M Industrial EPC is seeking a Lead Civil/Structural Engineer to lead structural and foundation design for industrial projects in Refining, Petro-Chemical, and Chemical facilities. You will coordinate designs, manage multiple projects, ensure safety, and apply applicable codes and standards.

The role requires hands-on design work, proficiency in AutoCAD, CADWorx, RISA and Hilti Profis, and strong collaboration across teams. Texas licensure and EPC experience are highly preferred.

• Six years minimum of in-depth experience in Civil / Structural engineering design and construction within the petrochemical industries.

The Lead Civil/Structural Engineer provides structural and foundation design, technical analysis, and/or resolution of engineering and design problems. Gives direction and coordination of structural and civil designs for industrial projects in Refining, Petro-Chemical, and Chemical facilities.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Six years minimum of in-depth experience in Civil / Structural engineering design and construction within the petrochemical industries.


• Current Texas Professional Engineer License preferred.


• Previous relevant EPC company experience.


• Competent proficiency with current industrial codes (ASCE, AISC, ACI, IBC, PIP).


• Familiarity with utilizing laser scans in facility design.


• Competent proficiency in AutoCAD


• Demonstrated problem solving skills


• Strong interpersonal skills and capable of establishing respect and credibility through actions, communications, understanding and personal presence


• Ability to work with others to achieve job goals


• Competent proficiency with structural engineering analysis and design using structural modeling software (RISA products, Hilti Profis).
