Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Distinguished Software Engineer to lead CI/CD modernization. You will work with our One Pipeline team to build a cutting-edge build and deployment platform and mentor engineers across the Capital One Tech community.

You will articulate a bold technical vision, drive architecture decisions, and champion engineering excellence while collaborating with product managers and machine learning experts to solve complex banking challenges in the cloud.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• 7+ years of software engineering and solution architecture experience
• 10+ years in professional coding with languages like Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Swift
• 8+ years in the full lifecycle of system development from conception to production
• 3+ years of experience with public or private cloud technologies
• Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling to accelerate productivity
