Job summary

The Joint Chiropractic in Houston, TX seeks a Lead Chiropractor to join a supportive, franchise-based clinic. You will diagnose, adjust, and educate patients while benefiting from marketing, insurance handling and business administration support so you can focus on patient care.

Required: 2+ years as a licensed DC, a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, and NBCE readiness. Perks include malpractice insurance, health insurance, 401(k), PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a licensed DC.
• Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited college.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• NBCE Parts I-IV or NBCE SPEC Part IV alternative.
• Valid DC license in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients by reviewing histories, examining patients, and reviewing x‑rays as indicated.
• Evaluate neuro-musculoskeletal and spine conditions using chiropractic diagnosis.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine and other joints.
• Educate patients on benefits of routine chiropractic care and provide treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate case histories and records of patients.
• Arrange for diagnostic x‑rays when necessary and analyze results.
• Build positive doctor-patient relationships and ensure timely records.
• Support membership sales where appropriate.

Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college

Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college

NBCE Parts I–IV or NBCE SPEC exam acceptable alternative for Part IV

Valid DC license in the applicable state

Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.
• Evaluate patients’ neuro-musculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuro-musculoskeletal and spine related conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.
• Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment.
• Maintain accurate case histories of patients.
• Obtain and record patients' medical histories, as indicated.
• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, when medically necessary.
• Analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patients' difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.

Qualifications needed:

• A minimum of 2 yearsexperience as a licensed DC
• 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
• A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college
• Passing scores for Parts I, II, III, and IV from NCBE
• A recent NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable alternative for Part IV
• Valid DC license in the applicable state
• Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in the applicable state
