Job summary

The Joint Chiropractic in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Doctor of Chiropractic to diagnose and treat patients, perform manual adjustments, and educate on care plans. It is a full-time role with company-paid malpractice insurance and a path toward nationwide advancement.

Required are a 4-year bachelor’s degree, a DC license, and NBCE exam eligibility. Competitive salary at $35/hour plus bonus, with strong support in marketing and administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college is required.
• Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college is required.
• Passing scores for Parts I–IV from NBCE or NBCE SPEC as alternative for Part IV.
• Valid DC license in the applicable state must be held.
• Malpractice Insurance eligibility in the applicable state must be granted.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays as indicated.
• Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems and spine to determine conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine or other body articulations to correct the musculoskeletal system where necessary.
• Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care and provide a recommended course of treatment.
• Maintain accurate case histories of patients and record medical histories as indicated.
• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays when medically necessary and analyze x-rays to locate sources of difficulties.

Education

Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.
• Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine related conditions.
• Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.
• Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment.
• Maintain accurate case histories of patients.
• Obtain and record patients’ medical histories, as indicated.
• Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, when medically necessary.
• Analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patients’ difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.
