Job summary

Center City Housing Corp. is a statewide leader in affordable supportive housing. The Children’s Program Coordinator works with Case Managers to provide comprehensive services to families living in permanent supportive housing on-site.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating programming for children from birth through adolescence, and partnering with community agencies to expand services. A valid driver’s license and Minnesota Background Study clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in early childhood education or equivalent with a minimum of one year experience working with low-income and homeless children and families.
• Experience supervising others is required.
• Must have valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Must pass Minnesota Background Study clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site programming for children from birth through teen years.
• Facilitate parent/guardian groups addressing children's needs.
• Supervise the children’s program staff.
• Develop positive relationships with community agencies and the Public School District.
• Collaborate with Site Director to implement grant-funded activities and evaluate programs.
