Job summary

Kidcreate Studio-Aliso Viejo is seeking a part-time lead teacher to join our fun art-focused team. The schedule, 11-16 hours per week, hinges on availability and our current needs, with after-school classes and weekend birthday parties forming the core.

You’ll prepare for classes, lead groups of 10-24 children, interact with parents, and help maintain a positive, creative studio. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about art and working with kids, comfortable in a dynamic, ever-changing classroom

Qualifications

• Experience teaching groups of children in art or education.
• Ability to lead activities with energy and patience.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced studio environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for classes and parties using provided curriculum.
• Lead classes and parties for children ages 3-11.
• Manage a classroom of 10-24 students; assistants as needed.
• Interact with parents and caregivers.
• Clean up your classroom and maintain supplies.
• Support the studio's art curriculum and setup.
