Imaginative Beginnings Early Learning Center is seeking a full-time Lead Childcare Teacher to join our team. You will lead a classroom and create engaging learning experiences across Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-K groups.

As a Lead Teacher, you will plan activities, document development, and communicate with families while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. A strong commitment to early childhood education and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to complete trainings including CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans.
• Create engaging learning experiences that support early literacy, math, social-emotional development, curiosity, and age-appropriate growth.
• Maintain a safe, structured, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
• Observe, assess, and document children’s growth and development.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding children’s needs, progress, and classroom experiences.
• Maintain required classroom records, including attendance, lesson plans, and daily reports.
• Follow state licensing requirements and center policies.
• Support program quality standards and collaborate with team members.
• Coordinate age-appropriate classroom activities, special events, and field trips when applicable.

Imaginative Beginnings Early Learning Center is seeking a full-time Lead Childcare Teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced childcare professional or early childhood educator who enjoys leading a classroom, creating engaging learning experiences, and building strong relationships with children and families.

We are hiring for Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-K classrooms. Classroom placement is based on experience, interests, and current center needs.

Typical schedule: Most positions follow a consistent daytime schedule (for example, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) within center hours of 5:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

What You Will Do

• Previous experience in a childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood setting
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• CDA (Child Development Associate) or other early childhood credential
• Experience with infants, toddlers, preschool, and/or Pre-K children
• Familiarity with early learning standards and Kindergarten readiness
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Physical Requirements
