Job summary

Cornerstone Learning Center- Southwind is seeking a Lead Teacher for the Toddlers classroom. The position runs Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm, with compensation of $15-16 per hour based on education and experience.

Responsibilities include leading all classroom activities and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for young children. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, can pass background checks, and ideally possess at least one year of childcare experience.

is a licensed childcare center seeking Lead Teachers for the following classroom:

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED and the ability to pass all background checks. One year of previous childcare experience preferred!

Required Shift

Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm

Compensation

$15-16 per hour, based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
• Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Take initiative, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
• Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
• Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
