Job summary

Commander, Navy Installations Command seeks a Child and Youth Program Direct Care Supervisor to assist the facility Director with supervisory oversight of CYP Direct Care Professionals in CDC and SAC programs. The role ensures staff accountability across all hours of operation.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in the child and/or youth profession or education.
• Knowledge of regulations, policies, and standards for CYP.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate programming for ages 6 weeks to 18 years.
• Ability to lead a team and motivate diverse CYP staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory oversight for CYP Direct Care Professionals in CDC and SAC programs.
• Assist facility Director in program operation and staff accountability during all hours.
• Lead, mentor, coach staff to improve teaching practices and activity planning.
