Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Two years of professional, internship, or volunteer work in a human service-related agency.
• Colorado State Child Welfare Caseworker Certification within ninety days of course enrollment and maintain certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides lead work for a team, including training, technical support, orienting new employees, mentoring, and resolving complex problems.
• Interviews clients and develops treatment plans, initiates home studies, and conducts intensive casework for families and children.
• Attends and testifies in court hearings and mediations; prepares paperwork and monitors compliance with court orders.
• Monitors clients’ progress and ensures timely services; coordinates and assesses safety, permanency, and well-being.
• Documents all contacts, maintains case information, and ensures timely reporting and data entry.
