Responsibilities

• Oversees implementation of agency policies regarding education, disabilities, and mental health services.
• Keeps updated on federal, state and local laws; shares updates with administration and staff.
• Facilitates activities to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provides leadership and supervision to staff; communicates expectations.
• Maintains relationships to ensure coordinated service delivery and to address issues.
• Monitors delivery of services; prepares written reports for Education Specialist/Mentor Coach.
• Contributes to annual community needs assessment with staff and parents.
• Interacts with parent committees and families about policies, enrollment, and activities.
• Establishes procedures to maximize communication between teaching staff and parents.
