Job summary

BrightPath Kids is hiring a Lead Teacher to partner with families and fellow teachers to provide a nurturing, educational environment for children. The role emphasizes safety, developmentally appropriate activity planning, and clear communication with parents.

In this full-time position, you will implement NAEYC-aligned curricula, supervise an assigned classroom, and collaborate with families to support each child’s growth while following state requirements for licensure and employment.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field or CDA credential or Career Pathway Level 3 or Bachelor's degree.
• 1 year of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children.
• Follow NAEYC guidelines in curriculum planning and implementation.
• Create developmentally appropriate activities based on children's interests.
• Maintain a safe, warm, clean environment for children to explore.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their child.
• Partner with families to plan and provide high-quality care and education.
