Job summary

BrightPath Kids seeks qualified caregivers to supervise and care for children from 6 weeks to 12 years in a single classroom. You will design developmentally appropriate activities and create curriculum aligned with NAEYC standards.

You will curate programs based on kids' interests, maintain a safe and welcoming space, and partner with families to plan the best care. Strong communication with guardians is essential.

Qualifications

• Option A requires TECE 1 & TECE 2 or PP-ECE or 120 hours CDA training with 10 hours in each CDA area.
• Option B: CDA credential.
• Option C: at least nine college credits with three in ECE and three in child development.
• Option D: vocational/technical ECE program completed before 2018 with C- or better.
• Option E: Montessori credentials from MACTE program.
• Option F: associate/bachelor in ECE with six credits in child development and supervised teaching or 500 hours.
• Option G: degree plus six credits in child development and 500 hours experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in one classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum per NAEYC standards.
• Curate programs based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, safe, clean environment for growth and exploration.
• Partner with families to plan the best care and education for their children.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
