Job Type: Part-Time

Position: Lead Nanny Specialist

Hours: Sunday-Friday between 8am-9pm, with flexible scheduling options

Hourly Rate: Starting at $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Safe at Home, a division of Kennedy Care, provides high-quality child care services to employees of Ford Motor Company, University of Michigan, Michigan State University, and the Detroit Lions, as well as in-home services for families.

We are seeking a reliable, compassionate on-call child care provider in the Ann Arbor area with previous experience, especially with infants, and the ability to handle last-minute shifts. The role may include serving as a temporary Nanny while the team finds permanent placements, supervising and mentoring staff virtually and in person.

Expect to work 25-40 hours per week; if fewer than 25 hours are worked, a minimum payment of $400 applies.

Responsibilities include:
  • Engaging children in developmental activities

  • Managing timesheets and documentation

Minimum requirements:
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Reside within 30 miles of Ann Arbor
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
  • Customer service experience
