Job summary

Cindavi in Tulsa is seeking an Analytical Lab Manager to lead an on-site lab, combining hands-on analytical expertise with people leadership. You will own the systems, standards, and team behind reliable chemical testing in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

You will guide a team supporting production, R&D, and quality objectives through accurate results, strengthening safety practices, improving turnaround times, and modernizing laboratory data and workflows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of laboratory experience in fluorine chemistry or chemical manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with GC and FTIR instrumentation and data interpretation.
  • Knowledge of ICP-MS, HPLC, titration, and spectroscopy.
  • Experience developing analytical methods and documentation.
  • Strong safety and regulatory compliance knowledge (OSHA, EPA, ISO).

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily lab operations delivering safe, timely analytical testing for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
  • Champion a rigorous safety culture and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, ISO).
  • Oversee analytical methods and testing across techniques (ICP-MS, HPLC, titration, spectroscopy).
  • Develop and maintain laboratory procedures, methods, equipment calibration, maintenance, and QC practices.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop technicians and chemists with coaching and training programs.
  • Partner with Production, R&D, Engineering, and Quality for troubleshooting and new-product development.
  • Drive continuous improvement through methods, technology, automation, digitization, and LIMS evaluation.

Position Summary

We are hiring an Analytical Lab Manager to lead a critical on-site laboratory operation in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This opportunity combines hands-on analytical expertise with people leadership, giving you ownership of the systems, standards, and team behind reliable chemical testing in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

You will guide a laboratory team that supports production, research and development, and quality objectives through accurate, defensible results. Your work will have visible impact: strengthening safety practices, improving turnaround times, solving complex analytical challenges, and modernizing laboratory data and workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily laboratory operations to deliver safe, timely, and reliable analytical and quality-control testing for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
  • Champion a rigorous safety culture, including the handling, storage, and disposal of fluorine-based chemicals and other hazardous materials, while maintaining OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulatory compliance.
  • Apply hands-on expertise with GC and FTIR, while overseeing analytical methods and testing across techniques such as ICP-MS, HPLC, titration, and spectroscopy.
  • Develop, refine, and maintain laboratory procedures, analytical methods, equipment calibration, maintenance, qualification, and quality-control practices.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop laboratory technicians and chemists through clear expectations, coaching, training programs, cross-training, and regular team communication.
  • Partner with Production, R&D, Engineering, and Quality to support troubleshooting, root-cause investigations, process validation, and new-product development.
  • Drive continuous improvement through stronger methods, technology, automation, digitization, and the evaluation and implementation of a LIMS.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific or engineering discipline.
  • 5+ five years of laboratory experience, ideally within fluorine chemistry, specialty chemicals, or chemical manufacturing.
  • Hands-on proficiency operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, and interpreting data from GC and FTIR instrumentation.
  • Working knowledge of additional analytical techniques, including ICP-MS, HPLC, titration, and spectroscopy.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining analytical methods, laboratory procedures, and documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory safety and regulatory compliance, including OSHA, EPA, ISO, and relevant industry standards.
