Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Chemical Systems Engineer to oversee third‑party design of chemical delivery and handling systems for high‑tech construction projects in the US. The role requires strong project management, regulatory compliance, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

You will ensure designs meet safety standards and integrate with BIM tools, while guiding external firms from concept through commissioning.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in chemical systems engineering.
Proficiency in reviewing P&IDs, 3D models, and specifications with AutoCAD, Revit, or Navisworks.

Responsibilities

Manage third‑party design firms for chemical delivery and handling systems.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, procurement, finance and design teams.
Ensure BIM integration with facility systems using Revit and Navisworks.
Review capacity plans and validate utilization and diversity factor assumptions.
Oversee safety compliance to codes, standards, and protocols.
Support commissioning, testing and equipment validation with vendors.
Follow safety and environmental procedures; use AI to streamline processes.
