Job summary

Outfield Healthcare Partners is seeking a Nurse Supervisor (RN/LVN) to ensure care delivery aligns with the facility’s mission, policies, and regulatory standards. You will oversee nursing operations during assigned shifts, mentor staff, and collaborate with physicians and other professionals to maintain high-quality care.

The role requires supervising nursing personnel, administering medications, and ensuring timely execution of physician orders within the Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Graduate of LVN or RN program and licensed in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification ("All SNFs; ALFs as required by state").

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of high-quality clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction during supervisory shift.
• Serve as a resource to all staff regarding quality of services provided.
• Provide direct resident care when required; administer medications and treatments timely per facility policy; follow physician orders where allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Effectively manage nursing personnel on shift to limit overtime and agency staff.
• Assess the work performance of nursing staff against unit standards and goals.
• Conduct regular shift huddles and provide updates to DON.
