Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to join the care team at the Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Georgia. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, serving as a liaison between patients, families, and providers to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include delivering and coordinating care, participating in performance improvement, maintaining licenses, and mentoring junior staff while upholding confidentiality and safety

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred.
• All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
• BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor or BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support
• RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact

Responsibilities

• Monitors, examines, and evaluates the patient condition and supports the care plan.
• Delivers care as outlined and communicates care plans to the team.
• Prioritizes daily patient flow and patient experience to deliver safe, effective care.
• Maintains documentation of patient assessments, changes in condition, and care delivered per policy.
• Supports ongoing professional growth and mentorship within the nursing staff.
