Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Adjuster licensing as required by jurisdiction(s) handled.
• 5+ years of commercial general liability claims handling experience; litigated and construction-related claims strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently investigate and manage a full caseload of CGL claims, including premises liability, slip and fall, product liability, construction defect and related losses.
• Drive timely claim resolution through proactive file management and documentation.
• Analyze complex policy language, including endorsements, exclusions, and limits, to determine coverage.
• Manage litigated files and direct defense counsel on strategy and budgets.
• Negotiate settlements within delegated authority while balancing cost and exposure.
• Maintain thorough, accurate file documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.
