GYMGUYZ NW Washington is seeking a lead-level Certified Personal Trainer for the Bellevue/King County territory. This master trainer role blends in-home coaching, client assessments, program recommendations, and leadership within the training team.

You’ll work with clients in homes, offices, and community settings, starting and sustaining customized fitness programs. No gym rent, no traditional sales quotas; growth opportunities exist through performance and referrals.

Qualifications

• Nationally recognized PT certification (NASM/ACE/ISSA/ACSM/NSCA or equivalent).
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Proven ability to build trust, motivate clients, and communicate professionally.
• Willingness to travel locally between appointments.
• Strong relationship-building and consultative communication skills.
• Proactive, organized, results-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fitness assessments and client consultations.
• Build rapport and understand goals, needs, and barriers.
• Recommend customized training programs and start clients on plans.
• Close personal training package sales through consultative approach.
• Deliver safe, high-energy in-home and on-site sessions.
• Design programs using the GYMGUYZ App and update as needed.
• Track client progress via reassessments and ongoing communication.
• Manage schedule and travel within Bellevue/King County.
• Mentor other trainers as the team grows.

GYMGUYZ is looking for a lead-level Certified Personal Trainer for our Bellevue/King County territory.

This is our Master Trainer role; a premium personal training position that combines in-home coaching, client assessments, consultative program recommendations, and leadership within the training team.

You will work with clients in homes, offices, and community settings while helping them start and stay committed to customized fitness programs. This is a strong fit for a trainer who enjoys coaching, building trust, recommending solutions, and helping clients take action on their goals.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct fitness assessments and client consultations
• Build rapport with prospective clients and understand their goals, needs, and barriers
• Recommend customized training programs and help clients confidently begin their fitness journey
• Close personal training package sales through a consultative, client-first approach
• Deliver safe, effective, high-energy in-home and on-site personal training sessions
• Design and update personalized fitness programs using the GYMGUYZ App
• Track client progress through reassessments and ongoing communication
• Manage your schedule and travel efficiently within the Bellevue/King County territory
• Build relationships with referral partners and community organizations
• Participate in paid community outreach and business development activities
• Mentor and support other trainers as the team grows

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Nationally recognized personal training certification, such as NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Proven ability to build trust, motivate clients, and communicate professionally
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally between appointments
• Strong relationship-building and consultative communication skills
• Professional, self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented mindset
• Comfort using mobile and web-based apps for scheduling, client notes, programming, and communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience conducting fitness consultations or assessments
• Experience selling personal training, wellness, or coaching programs
• Leadership, mentoring, or team-support experience
• Experience with Trainerize, Mindbody, or similar fitness platforms
• 3-5 years of personal training or fitness coaching experience preferred
