Job summary

Tender Touch Rehab Services LLC is seeking a Lead Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our SNF/Long-Term Care team in New Jersey. This full-time role requires NBCOT certification, current state licensure, and leadership qualities to mentor other staff and act in the rehab supervisor's absence.

• NBCOT certification as a COTA, if required by the state.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• New grads welcome; mentorship available.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an OT
• Assist in implementing personalized care plans focused on functional goals
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes
• Maintain documentation to meet regulatory requirements
• Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up to date
• Act as a leader/mentor in your specific discipline
• Assume job responsibilities of the rehab supervisor in his/her absence
