Job description

Certified Medical Technologist III, Third Shift, Core Lab Department

UC Health is hiring a full-time Certified Medical Technologist III for the core lab department for third shift at West Chester Hospital. We’re offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus!

The Certified Medical Technologist III performs routine and complex laboratory analyses, identifies and corrects problems, develops alternatives when necessary, stays current in laboratory theory and technique, and assumes responsibility for problem solving. Requires the exercise of independent judgment and interpretation.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory/medical technology science with at least one year of high complexity testing experience, or an Associate degree in a related field with at least three years of high complexity testing experience.
  • MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or MLT(ASCP) certification or equivalent required.
  • Professional interaction skills with patients, visitors, physicians, and staff.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task in stressful environments.

Expected starting salary range is $36.62/hr. - $45.27/hr., dependent on experience and other factors.
