Job Description
The Lead Certification Auditor (Quality, Sustainability, Pharma, Cosmetics, and Personal Care) conducts third-party audits according to SGS procedures and standards. Responsible for making audit decisions, resolving issues outside the audit process, and providing certification recommendations based on collected evidence. The auditor has authority over audit planning and team management.

This position is 100% remote

• Qualifications: Qualified as a Lead Auditor in multiple standards such as PCPC (ISO 22716, EU GMP, WHO GMP/GDP, EFfCI, EXCiPACT, ISO 15378, ISO 9001), Quality (ISO 9001, 27216), and Sustainability (ISO 14001, 45001, SMET). Capable of conducting integrated audits as per procedures.
• Additional responsibilities include: Supplier qualifications, performing certifications, understanding SGS Certification System, overseeing audit teams (up to 15 auditors), collaborating with teams, providing customer audit experiences, training auditors, participating in witness audits, maintaining credentials, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in science or bio-science preferred; other science backgrounds considered.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of management experience in Pharma, Cosmetics, or Personal Care industries, including 2 years in quality assurance or safety management systems.
• Minimum 5 years of auditing experience, qualified as an ISO lead auditor, especially in Pharmaceutical or OTC products, Quality, and Sustainability.
• Experience in delivering training is a plus.

Travel: Up to 80% travel, including international trips with long flights; weekend travel may be required.

Salary: $87,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience.
