Job summary

Magical Beginnings Learning Centers in Norwell, MA seeks a Center Director to oversee operations, ensure MA EEC licensing compliance, and lead a growing team of educators.

The ideal candidate will hold Massachusetts EEC Director II certification, have an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, and 2–4 years of leadership experience in daycare or preschool settings. Qualifications

• Massachusetts EEC Director II certification is required.
• Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related degree with experience.
• 2–4 years of leadership experience in daycare/preschool/early childhood setting.
• Strong knowledge of EEC compliance, licensing, and childcare regulations.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification with active continuing education and State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all center operations and ensure MA EEC compliance and licensing.
• Maintain child-to-teacher ratio compliance and safety/education regulations.
• Prepare for licensure visits and communicate with licensors.
• Keep staff and child files compliant and schedule within payroll guidelines.
• Supervise, coach, and support teaching staff to build a cohesive team.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and classroom ratios during ramp-up.
• Implement a developmental, multicultural curriculum across classrooms.
• Guide staff in documenting child growth and observations.
• Conduct monthly staff meetings, 1:1s, and parent meetings as needed.
• Partner with families to build communication and drive enrollment.
